Our Process

Below is our very simple 6-step process from project inception through the overall design or construction completion. These timelines may vary as the size and scope of every project varies.

Step 1: Free-Consultation

A free 15-minute consultation is available to clients who want to talk through their ideas with the design engineer and evaluate if this is going to be a good fit and partnership.

Step 3: Project Kick-Off Call

& Site Walk

During the ordering process, you are able to schedule the initial project kick off call with the design team. The design team will take this time to intake and review the entire scope, your ideas and preferences, and dislikes too. Everything from tree type, rock type, etc. will be reviewed. A second call will be scheduled thereafter where the client will provide a virtual site walk of the area of the proposed space, so the design team can take video or photos of the space for the design creation process.

Step 5: Review & Revisions

Depending on the package purchased by the client, multiple revisions will be available. The design engineer and client will review the drawings and continue to work together on revisions until the client is satisfied with the layout and scope inclusions.

Step 2: Choose Design Package

If you're ready to move forward with the design process, then you can choose and purchase the Basic, Standard, or Premium design packages, and if you need support beyond the design phase, you can add construction project management services as well.

Step 4: Create Preliminary Design

The design engineer will create a preliminary design based on the scope of work shared in the initial kick off call and any subsequent calls and/or site walks conducted. This will include renderings and layouts of the existing home/building, surrounding environment, the new landscaping plan, any hardscape components, and estimated measurements.

Step 6: Final Design

Once the client is satisfied with the layout and look of the renderings, the final design documents will be gby the design engineer and the deliverables will be sent to the  client.
